The #Viacoop
The right of use cooperative housing is a model that is being prepared to make the leap in scale and be accessible to all layers of the population. But for this we need the public, cooperative and community forces to join and go beyond what each party could do separately. The Forum want to be a space to accelerate these already ongoing processes.
Organisation
The Forum is an initiative of the cooperative housing sector in transfer of use of the XES, Habicoop and REAS Red de Redes.
Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya provide their funding. The Forum is complemented by donations and contributions from other entities and individuals.

Is the ticket valid for all days and all activities?
- Yes, with two exceptions. On the one hand, the opening debate on Thursday the 24th in the afternoon at the Palau Robert is accessed on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is exhausted. Another differentiated activity is the visits to cooperatives in coexistence. During the registration, a sample of interest will be requested, and depending on the availability of the projects, we will open a personalized registration a few weeks before.
Can we contribute with activity proposals?
- Through XES and REAS network a space was opened to collect proposals for activities that is currently closed. In any case, you can write to us at habitatge(at)xes.cat
Will there be online sessions?
- Yes, some of the activities will be broadcast live. On the Program page you will find the details a few weeks before. Broadcast activities and others will be published on the Forum website.
In what language will the Forum be held?
- We wanted to prioritize that everyone express themselves in their preferred language, so some activities will have simultaneous translation between Catalan and Spanish. The rest of the activities, especially those in which all the speakers are Catalan speakers, will have community translation available for those who need it.
